WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Iowa Metal Recycling is conveniently located across the street from the Evansdale City Hall, between Lafayette and Dubuque Road in Evansdale, Iowa.
DO I NEED TO HAVE MY MATERIALS SORTED BEFORE I COME?
No, materials do not need to be sorted. However, if you prefer to be paid individually for each commodity, we request that materials are separated prior to your arrival. If you are not sure how to separate your materials, our team will be happy to advise you.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I GET THERE?
When you arrive at our location, check in at our front office. One of our team members will direct you based on the materials you have to recycle.
WHEN WILL I BE PAID FOR MY MATERIAL?
Immediately! We offer what we call the "Weight & Pay" system, meaning our customers, both large and small, are paid immediately upon turning in their materials.
DO YOU HAVE CONTAINERS AVAILABLE FOR BUSINESSES THAT DISPOSE OF RECYCLABLE MATERIAL FREQUENTLY?
Yes! We have several container options available to fit your demands and will switch out your container as needed. And, our container service is FREE in the Cedar Valley - no pickup, delivery, or monthly fees on our containers! Call or email to schedule delivery.
CAN I HAVE A CONTAINER DELIVERED IF I AM NOT WITH A BUSINESS?
Absolutely! Containers can be delivered to anyone in the Cedar Valley that has a large amount of metal to recycle. Some frequent uses include property cleanups, renovations, and scrap metal fundraisers.
WILL I GET PAID FOR THE MATERIAL I PUT IN A CONTAINER?
Yes! Call us to schedule a switch or pickup when your tub is full. We will weigh your tub and send you a check for your material within 24 hours!
Customers required to wear thick-soled shoes and gloves while unloading. Customers are NOT permitted to process material on site.
Iowa Metal Recycling takes material theft seriously. We are part of a nationwide scrap metal theft alert system and monitor our premises with 24-hour video surveillance. All customers will be required to show photo identification at the time of check issuance.
